The aforesaid information is collected by us to respond to your request, to process the investment applications and to also ensure safe subscriptions/redemptions through points of acceptance in physical form, website, online portals, or such other mode. The said information is also collected to be compliant with Know Your Client (KYC) norms under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, (PMLA) the rules issued there under, and guidelines and circular on Anti-Money Laundering issued by SEBI and SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996, as amended from time to time.
We may collect/receive your Personal Information from several sources. Information shall also be collected from vendors/distributors and/or any other service providers for maintenance of our records and for processing of the payments/commissions etc.
Security Standards and Measures:
We have adopted reasonable security practices and procedures and have implemented such reasonable security practices and safeguards which are appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information. Additionally, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information. This includes performing ongoing evaluations of our systems containing investor information and making changes when appropriate.
We permit only authorised employees who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to aforesaid information. Further, the employees who violate the privacy and confidentiality promise shall be subjected to disciplinary action.
The Provider of Information, especially the investors, agree and understand that trusted third parties who act on our behalf for performing of certain functions such as processing of transactions, issuing account statements etc., are under contractual obligations to ensure reasonable security safeguards commensurate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information being handled by them.
To better service your accounts and provide you with more choices, we may share non-public personal information with the distributors of our mutual fund and other financial service providers offering banking, trust, and custodial products and services.

Retention of Personal Information:
We may retain Provider’s Personal Information for as long as required to provide our services to the Investor or otherwise if required under law.
Breach of Internet Security:
Despite our best efforts, if unauthorised persons breach our security control measures resulting in the Site being hacked or presenting inaccurate information etc., Shriram Mutual Fund, Shriram Asset Management Company Limited, or Trustees of Shriram Mutual Fund, will not be responsible.
